The problem of overpopulation in Bangladesh has been a major problem. For the overall

development of the country, it was imperative to reduce the population by reducing the growth rate.

In Bangladesh, there have been many methods of family planning followed. The Indictable program has been one of them. The method has been introduced in Bangladesh by the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) in 1978. Since then, no evaluation had been made before the conserved project.

The study was to evaluate the impact of the Program on family planning, its acceptability to rural and urban areas, assessment of the service delivery system comparatively by both government and NGO clinic, medical complications reported by the clients and as well as follow-up service etc
