Women participation in Rural Legal System is very limited. They are also neglected in state-judiciary system due to lack of knowledge about violation, discrimination and family law. They cannot practice the scopes of protecting violation for illiteracy and attitudinal practice. To increase legal practice concept, access in social justice and ensure equal position in the society Community Initiatives to Reduce Violence against Women CIRVAW) has been implementing in Sharsha Upazilla under assistance of Banchte Shekha (Funded by MJF) since November 2006. To reduce the violence against women, arranging Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and providing required legal support in court cases is the main component of the Project.
